Well, It Could Have Gone Updateless Longer...
Kristen the Slayres: You're right, the Incredibles did live up to its name. Woohoo!! Just don't wear any capes, all right?
Ryan: Just think... you're done with your paper!!
I know, I know, it's been another week and a half. But I do have a reason for the delay; I've been busier than usual. All the classes are coming to a head before finals week (the scheduling is starting to come together, so I can get back to Mom and Dad so they can figure out when I'm coming home), and I've got rehearsals for "The Case of the Crushed Petunias" just about every night (performances are this weekend; it's our director's final exam, pretty much).
However, I do have a few spare moments right now, sitting in the MacAfee commons with Ben Bailey as he blogs and writes a paper. Newspaper production night is tonight, and I have to go to work before that, so I'm just killing the last fifteen minutes up here blogging. Woohoo!!
I did end up seeing "Christmas with the Kranks," since the Student Activities Council bought out the theater last weekend and showed a coupof midnight movies. The end, which was the most significant departure from the book, was intolerably cheesey to the point of being downright goofy, but it was a cute movie, very much enjoyable. It would be a good movie to rent, I would say.
Written Composition is just about finished now... I'll have to turn in a portfolio of revised unit essays on Wednesday, but that will be good since I do well in that class anyway. Yay for a big part of the grade being dependent of revisions; there's really no excuse to not get an A. Everything else is winding down... I only have one more meeting of each class prior to finals, which is sad, in its way, but I'm looking forward to next semester.
Tonight, the Union faculty will be having their Christmas dinner in the cafeteria, and the students will be having a picnic in the gym. I'm working the picnic, which means I get to work without having to run the dishwasher!! Yay for disposable plates!
Okay, I should be getting to work now. Quick updates are nice, but I bet this blog will be a lot more random while I've got time over break. ;-)
